Drill Training Technology

RUN DRILLS.
NOT
STOPWATCHES.

Stop counting. Start commanding. Drillcard runs the clock — staggered dispatch, automated stage progression, live observer board — so your full attention stays on the scenario.

Mission

Give trainers the one thing they don't have when the drill starts: a free hand.

Drillcard runs the clock so you can run the room. Every dispatch time, arrival split, and stage transition — tracked automatically, without pulling your eyes off the scenario.

Vision

Every drill — fire, EMS, rescue, hazmat — documented, measured, and repeatable.

A future where no trainer loses a split time to chaos, no after-action review runs on memory, and every department can show exactly how their program improves over time.

The Problem

You're running complex tabletop drills on primitive tools.

Training coordinators manage dozens of variables every session. The tools haven't kept up with the complexity.

01
Multiple units. Zero coordination.
Running 4–8 apparatus with separate stopwatches means missed splits, miscommunication, and scenarios that drift from reality the moment they start. The alarm is ringing. Nobody has a free hand.
02
Staggered arrivals need synchronized dispatch.
Real incidents don't send every unit at once. Simulating staggered response with whiteboards and handwritten timecodes is slow, error-prone, and unscalable across disciplines.
03
No record of what actually happened.
Post-drill debriefs run on memory and scribbled notes. Without objective timestamps and progression records, identifying where a scenario broke down is guesswork with a badge on it.
How It Works

From setup to debrief in three steps.

Runs in the browser on any device. No installs, no IT tickets, no setup overhead.

01
Build Your Scenario
Select incident type, assign responding stations, configure apparatus, and set distance-based ETAs. Everything is ready before you call dispatch.
02
Run the Drill
Dispatch units in real time. Timers count down automatically. A shareable observer URL puts the live board on any screen in the room — no login required.
03
Debrief with Data
Every session generates a full timeline: dispatch times, arrival splits, stage progressions. Export it. Run a sharper drill next week.
Why Drillcard

Not for the admin, but they can watch (Observe mode).

Every other training tool was designed for documentation, compliance, or scheduling. None of them were designed for the moment the drill starts. Drillcard is purpose-built for real-time drills. Developed by a 20-year Fire Rescue veteran.

Pricing

Priced for departments, not enterprise procurement.

No per-seat traps. No usage fees. Pay monthly or save 20% going annual.

From the Field

Trainers built this. Trainers trust it.

Developed by a Training Captain and 20-year veteran of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

We ran four engines and two trucks through a warehouse scenario. Every split time was logged, every stage transition was automatic. No one touched a stopwatch.

The observer URL alone is worth it. My evaluators are watching the board on a projector while I run the simulation from my laptop. That's a setup we never had before.

I've run tabletop exercises for fifteen years. Drillcard cut my setup time in half and gave me data I can actually bring to after-action reviews.

FAQ

Straight answers.

No. Drillcard runs entirely in the browser. Any device with a modern browser — tablet, laptop, projector — works. The observer URL requires no login. Share the link, open the board.
Per department, not per seat (except Responder, which includes 3 trainer seats). Command gives you 10 trainer seats; Unified Command is unlimited. No per-session fees, no usage meters.
Yes. Every department profile supports custom unit naming, station labels, and apparatus types. If your department calls them Pumpers and Commanders, that's what Drillcard uses.
Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, HazMat, Technical Rescue, Emergency Management, Military/National Guard, Coast Guard/Marine, Public Works, and Hospital/Medical. Disciplines activate per department.
Yes. We offer a guided demo using Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reference data so you can evaluate the platform against a real-world scenario before signing anything.
When you start a simulation, Drillcard generates a read-only URL. Share it with any number of observers. The board updates in real time — no login, no account, no app required.
Session records include dispatch timestamps, arrival splits, stage transitions, and elapsed times. Export is available on Command and Unified Command tiers as PDF and CSV.
